30 Question
There will be 30 questions with equal weightage to subjects
4 Thinking Levels
Remembering, Understanding, Applying and Analysing are the 4 thinking levels being assessed
3 Difficulty Levels
Easy, Medium and Hard are the 3 difficulty levels in which questions can be expected
2 times a year
One set of BMA at the beginning and at the end of the academic year is recommended

YaClass Benchmark assessments are done at the beginning of every academic year.
BMAs are Low-stake assessments and done to test the child’s previous knowledge, hence, does not require pre-preparations.
There are two BMAs for grades 7 to 10:
1. 30 questions for 45 min in literacy and numeracy (free).
2. 30 questions for 45 min in Scientific thinking and general awareness (paid).
