Newton's third law:
It states that 'for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. They always act on two different bodies'.
If a body A applies a force FA on a body B, then body B reacts with force FB on body A, which is equal to FA in magnitude but opposite in direction.

Examples:
  • When birds fly,
Action - Birds push the air downwards with their wings
Reaction - Air pushes the bird upwards
  • When a person swims,
Action - A person pushes the water using the hands backwards
Reaction - The water pushes the swimmer in the forward direction
  • When you fire a bullet,
Action - The gun recoils backwards, and the bullet moves forward 
Reaction - The gun equalises this forward action by moving backwards
