Vitamin B:
 
Vitamin B plays an essential role in the maintenance of good health and well-being. It is important for brain function and cell metabolism. In addition, it plays a vital role in a healthy nervous system, the formation of red blood cells (RBCs), and good skin.
It is a water-soluble vitamin present in whole grains, including oats, milk, unpolished rice, peas, lentils, fish, meat, and green vegetables.

Sources of Vitamin B
 
It is a group of vitamins that include vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, vitamin B9, vitamin B12, etc. These are collectively called as Complex vitamins. The deficiency of vitamin B symptoms includes fatigue, tiredness or weakness, nervous weakness, anaemia, and numbness.
 
B12 deficiency: It can lead to depression, fatigue, and lack of red blood cells count.

B6 deficiency: It can lead to rashes in the skin around the mouth and anaemia (lack of haemoglobin in blood).
 
B1 and B2 deficiency: This can lead to skin disorders, problems in eyesight and neurons.
 
B9 deficiency: It is also known as folate or folic acid. Lack of this vitamin can lead to anaemia or diarrhea in adults. Deficiency of B9 in pregnant women can lead to complications during pregnancy.
 
Vitamin B deficiency causes a disease called beriberi, which creates weakness and numbness in the feet and legs, and difficulty in breathing.
 
Vitamin C:
Vitamin C is also a water-soluble vitamin mainly found in fruits - citrus fruits such as oranges, gooseberries, strawberries, all kinds of berries, and vegetables.
It is necessary for the growth, repair and development of the body tissues.

It plays a vital role in the formation of collagen, iron absorption, the immune system's functioning, maintenance of bones, teeth, and wound healing.
 
The symptoms of vitamin C deficiency causes bleeding gums, joint and muscle pain, and easy bleeding. The deficiency of Vitamin C also causes scurvy. Scurvy causes weakness, anaemia, gingivitis (disease of the gum).
