Adventure Tourism
Adventure tourism is defined as the movement of the people from one place to another outside their comfort zone to connect with a new culture or a new landscape and be physically active simultaneously, i.e. exploration or travel to remote areas, exotic and possibly hostile areas.

Adventure tourism is a type of tourism in which tourists do adventure activities like skydiving, hill climbing, and scuba diving.
Example:
For e.g. Skydive in Australia, Bungee jumping in New Zealand, Mountaineering in the peaks of the Himalayas, rafting in the Brahmaputra river at Arunachala Pradesh
Recreational Tourism
Recreation can be defined as one's leisure activities during spare time and can include vastly different fun activities such as golfing, sport​ etc. Hill stations, Waterfalls, beaches, and amusement parks are attractive spots for recreational tourism. Apart from this, there are certain modern types of tourism, which got developed in recent years.
