- The Iron-based tools are mainly used for making weapons like swords, daggers, axes etc. Many iron tools are also employed in irrigation, crafting and other purposes.

- The tools are also found their place in megalithic burials, which were kept along with the dead. Some Bronze tools with animal and plant decorations were found during the later part of the Iron Age.
