When the school begins, children come after a long vacation, many of them would forget what is supposed to be remembered to begin their learning journey in a new academic year.
So the first thing teachers do in the initial few weeks in the class is the “Bridge course”.
This is the pedagogy they follow for a few weeks to a month to make up the loss of learning outcome due to vacation.
It consists of concepts in capsule form from subjects the students learnt in the previous academic year.
Bridge courses help students warm up before the start of the new academic year.
