She had also chosen to express herself through a diary because she believed that papers had more patience than humans. 

Finally, she thought that a "diary" would be a better  than people since she felt that it could take in her concerns and secrets better than people. She gave her diary the name "" and began by outlining her past.

Anne's  officially began in Holland, where she started her first form. Anne liked all of her teachers, but her favourite was . But sadly, Anne's chatty behaviour did not help her get along well with her math teacher, . Anne ignored numerous warnings to stop talking in class, so Mr. Keesing gave her more    as .
