“In the Kingdom of fools” is an interesting Kannada folktale taken from A K Ramanujan’s “Folk Tales from India”. Folktales are stories passed down from generation to generation that focus on the characteristics of the time and place they were recounted.
“Folktales from India” is an enchanting collection of one hundred and ten tales collected from all corners of the country. The folktales were translated from twenty-two different languages like English, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, etc. It was published in the year \(1991\).
