To disprove - to prove that something is not true;

Existence - the fact of something or someone existing;

To rival - to be as good, clever, beautiful, etc. as someone or something else;

Picturesque - (especially of a place) attractive in appearance, especially in an old-fashioned way;

Diverse - including many different types of people or things;

Scenery - the general appearance of the natural environment, especially when it is beautiful;

Hill - an area of land that is higher than the surrounding land;

Perhaps - used to show that something is possible or that you are not certain about something;

Spot - a small, usually round area of colour that is differently coloured or lighter or darker than the surface around it;

Extraordinary - very unusual, special, unexpected, or strange;

Maze - a complicated system of paths or passages that people try to find their way through for entertainment;

To plant - to put a living thing into the ground or into a container of soil so that it will grow;

Pathway - a track that a person can walk along;

To flank - to be at the side of someone or something;

Yew - an evergreen tree (= one that never loses its leaves) with flat leaves like needles and small, red cones, or the wood from this tree;

Hedge - a line of bushes or small trees planted very close together, especially along the edge of a garden, field, or road.
