20. Chemical and Water

A container holds 22 litres of a solution. It contains chemical and water in water in the ratio \(3 : 5\). The solution is divided between two containers in the ratio \(4 : 7\). 

 

(i) Find the total quantity of chemical litres.

 

(ii) Find the total quantity of water litres.

 

(iii) Find the quantity of chemical in smaller container litres.

 

(iv) Find the quantity of chemical in larger container litres.

 

(v) Find the quantity of water in larger container litres.
