This property applies to addition and multiplication.
This property does not apply to subtraction and division.
While diving two integers, changing the order of the integers will change the result.
If \(a\) and \(b\) are any integers, then:
\((a ÷ b) ≠ (b ÷ a)\)
Example:
1. \(6 ÷ 4 ≠ 4 ÷ 6\)
2. \((12 ÷ 6) ≠ (6 ÷ 12)\)
