20. Number system: What is the greatest length of the rope he can make

Dheena has two pieces of rope, one 40 feet long and the other 52 feet long. He needs to cut them up to produce many pieces of rope all of the same length for a project, with no rope leftover. What is the greatest length of the rope he can cut?
