  1. Make four electromagnets with \(20\), \(40\), \(60\) and \(80\) turns.
  2. Connect them one by one to a battery of \(2\) cells.
  3. Bring the electromagnet near a box of pins.
  4. Count the number of pins attracted by it.
Compare the strengths of the electromagnets.

The electromagnet with \(80\) turns will number of pins. It is then followed by turns which will attract \(80\) turns. Then,  turns will attract turns. At last,  turns will attract least number of pins.

The reason for the effect is that the of an electromagnet increases by increasing the in the coil.
