The distance between two stations is 240 \(km\). A train takes 4 \(h\) to cover this distance. Calculate the speed of the train.

The formula for the speed is given as

\(Uniform\ motion\ =\) \(\frac {Time\ period}{Speed}\)
\(Speed\ =\) \(\frac {Distance\ travelled}{Time\ taken}\)
\(Speed\ =\) \(\frac {1}{Time\ taken}\)
\(Speed\ =\) \({Time\ taken} \times{Distance\ travelled}\)

On substituting the given values in the formula, we get the speed as \(km/h\).
