Theory:

We have studied in our class VII the types of changes-physical and chemical changes that occur in our surroundings, and today in this chapter, we will see how resources are classified.
 
Resources: In general, it means the supply of something available for use. Resources are classified into two. They are
  • Natural Resources
  • Man-made Resources
Natural resources: The term 'natural resources, means various resources obtained from nature. Example air, water, sunlight, soil, etc. Natural resources are further classified as renewable and non-renewable resources.

Man-made Resources: The term man-made resources are sources that do not occur in nature. Example plastics, constructions, vehicles, etc.
