Using kinematic equations of motion solve the below given problem:
 
A train starting from rest attains a velocity of \(54\) \(km\ h^{–1}\) in \(4\) \(minutes\). Assuming that the acceleration is uniform, find (i) the acceleration and (ii) the distance travelled by the train for attaining this velocity.
 
From the Equation of motion - \(I\), We know that,
 
i=i+i×i
 
From the Equation of motion - \(III\), We know that,
 
i×i×i  =ii  ii
  
Acceleration \(=\) \(m\ s^{-2}\)
