The movement in our body is caused by nervous tissuemuscular tissue. We can move and carry out various tasks because of our muscles and bones. The cells, which are elongated and are known as muscle fibresnerve fibres. Specialised proteins known as structural proteinscontractile proteins enable movement. The proteins contract and relax to cause movement.
