Calculate the number of dust particles present in the air at a particular place using a graph sheet.
 
Materials required:
 
Four or five graph sheets, grease, a marker pen and a magnifying glass.
 
Procedure:
  1. Draw a square of \(\text{5} \times \text{5}\ cm\) in a graph sheet using a marker pen.
  2. Apply a thin film of grease is to the graph sheet.
  3. Make four or five graph sheets in the same manner.
  4. Place each dust collector in different places.
  5. After the scheduled time, remove the paper.
  6. Count the number of collected dust particles in the marked area on the sheet, using a magnifying glass.
  7. Calculate the mean value and range from the collected details using the respective formulas.
  8. Tabulate it in the given table format.
