1. Define – pollination.

 

a. Transfer of pollen grainsovary from the antherstigma to the antherstigma is called pollination.

 

b. In artificial pollinationnatural pollination, there is transfer of pollen manually from a male flower to the female flower. While in artificial pollinationnatural pollination, transfer of pollen happens naturally through the agents of pollination or pollinators.
