  • Paramagnetic materials can align themselves parallel to the magnetic field direction when suspended in an external uniform magnetic field.
  • They migrate from the weaker part and move towards the stronger part when suspended in a non-uniform magnetic field.
  • These materials are magnetised in the direction of the magnetic field.
  • The external temperature affects the magnetic properties of these substances.
