1. Write the name of any nitrogen fixing bacteria.

 

In non leguminousleguminous plants, absorption of nitrogen is facilitated by Rhizobium Lichens bacteria. This bacteria lives in the stem nodulesroot nodules of the plants. It converts gaseous nitrogen into a unusableusable form and release it into the soil. Plants absorb this nitrogen in the soil for their growth. In return, the bacteria gets their only shelterfood and shelter from the plant.

 

2. Name the bacteria used in the production of vinegar.

 

The bacteria used in the production of vinegar is Lactobacillus acidophilus Acetobacter aceti.
