1. He took the throne at the very young age of 14, after the untimely demise of his father. He has ably supported the loyal commander of his father named “Bairam Khan”. 2. Post the demise of his father the throne of the Mughal empire was handed over to him who ruled the empire from 1605 – 1627. He was also called “Salim” and his name means “Conqueror of the World”.
