The S.B.I.O.A Model Matriculation Hr. Sec. School was started in July 1998 in the premises of SBOA School & Junior College, Chennai in response to the needs of many pupils who wanted to pursue their studies according to the Matriculation School Syllabus of the Tamil Nadu Government. Later in the year 2003, SBIOA Model Matric. Hr. Sec. School started functioning in Mogappair Eri Scheme, Chennai - 37.
