The given number is

Expand the

and multiply it by the given number.

2.3684 \times 10^{3} = 2.3684 \times 1000 = 2368.4

Therefore, the usual form of

2.3684 \times 10^{3}

is 2368.4.

ii)

0.8 \times 10^{-5}

The given number is

0.8 \times 10^{-5}

Expand the

10^{-5}

and multiply it by the given number.

0.8 \times 10^{- 6} = 0.8 \times 0.00001 = 0.00001

Therefore, the usual form of

0.8 \times 10^{-5}

is 0.00001.
