The given number is

Expand the

10^{5}

and multiply it by the given number.

2.8773 \times 10^{5} = 2.8773 \times 100000 = 287730

Therefore, the usual form of

2.8773 \times 10^{5}

is 287730.

ii)

0.9 \times 10^{-4}

The given number is

0.9 \times 10^{-4}

Expand the

10^{-4}

and multiply it by the given number.

0.9 \times 10^{- 6} = 0.9 \times 0.0001 = 0.00009

Therefore, the usual form of

0.9 \times 10^{-4}

is 0.00009.
